First Friday... At Bandcamp... Musicians Feel a Rejuvenation

“Fans have paid artists $627 million using Bandcamp, and $19.1 million in the last 30 days alone.” -Bandcamp.com

While music is practically free these days, more musicians are turning to Bandcamp. Back in March, something new started called Bandcamp Friday. Every first Friday of the month, Bandcamp waived their revenue share on all sales giving 100% to the artist. Today is the last Bandcamp Friday of the year. This has been a great way to start giving value back to an art that has been devalued over the years. Look up your favorite artists and check out some new releases below.

Video of The Month - A Walk in the Park by Andrew Bonnis

Andrew Bonnis celebrated his new CD release, “A Walk in the Park”, on Sunday, July 5th 2020. Relive the magic in the video below!

A note from Andrew:

Hey Friends!!!!

This year has been an incredibly difficult one for people all over the world. It has been a huge test of personal fortitude and self reflection that many (including myself) had not achieved until 2020. I'm extremely lucky and grateful to have had the opportunities to have been able to be a professional musician for over 16 years, and I recognize that gift. As well as navigating this world and figuring out how to be better people, I feel that art is one thing that connects us together to the human experience. In many ways, it helps soothe the pain of the present, gives context to the past, and hope for the future.

I'd like to send out a huge thanks to everyone involved in the making of this album including: David Ray, Steve Moore, Christine King, Ro Nevy, Anthony Papaleo, Anthony Taddeo, Stephen 'Tebbs' Karney, Sam Kristoff, Cold City Horns and Production, Abby Luri, Karen James Walters, and Kyle Ussery. Also!! Big thanks to Brent Kirby for turning me onto Justin Gorski's CD release show which was the inspiration to this video.

That being said, here is the album!!! Enjoy!!!! 😎💥🎶🎶💥
